Friday morning conversation

Me: I'm having a mid-life crisis.

Hubby: Does that mean you're leaving me and buying a flashy sports car?

Me: No. It just means I'm feeling old.

Hubby: That's not a mid-life crisis. That's just failure to die.

Keith and I have had odd changes (and discussions to match). Midlife crisis? Tired too easy? Restless desires? But it is puzzling to come to a point where things are changing and can change, and... It's a little uncomfortable and a lot of exciting, but it's almost (for me) like checklists start to spring forth of things I'd love to do and COULD do, and then I see that I'm on the downhill, timewise. And I like to sleep now, too. How cruel that my mind says "GO!" and my body says "yeah, maybe to BED."
